Natural Paints by Georgina Barrow

Our paints are water-based and give a flat matt finish and are as simple and easy to use as any other paint.

The Cotswold Range has been designed by Georgina Barrow.
They are pleasant smelling, especially in comparison to synthetic products.

As with most paints, our system is essentially a mixture of four ingredient groups,
namely: solvent, binder, colourant and filler.

Coverage and usage:
The paints are suitable for internal plaster walls and ceilings.
5 litres will cover approx 55 square metres.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

SOLVENTS:
The solvents used in our emulsion paints are water and vinegar ester. Both are natural products although it is usual to manufacture the vinegar ester.

HISTORICALtop

The Cotswold Colours are taken from the muted tones of the Cotswold countryside, an area historically renowned for natural beauty.
The subtle colours of the dry stone walls and stone buildings and the faded blues, greys, pinks, yellows and greens of the landscape are complemented by the occasional splash of richer colour. Stronger colours were rare back in the days when the area was wealthy from the wool it produced, and would probably only have been seen in churches or the homes of the richest wool merchants. For these colours we have taken our inspiration from research we have made in churches and historic homes in the area.
